Product and Software Privacy Notice
For: the Cowork Strategy Stack software (the Foundation plugin, persona packs, and related plugins, including any personal-data plugins such as the PDI suite). Provider: Private Media, LLC, an Illinois limited liability company. Effective Date: July 1, 2026
1. What This Notice Covers
This Notice explains how information is handled when you use our software, which runs on your own computer inside the Claude Cowork environment. It is separate from our website Privacy Policy, which covers visits to our sites.
2. Local-First by Design
2.1 The software operates locally on your device. The files it creates and works with, your workspace, and your configuration live on your computer, not on our servers.
2.2 Private Media does not collect or store the contents of your files, your workspace, or your connected accounts. We do not receive copies of the documents, emails, calendar entries, transcripts, or other content the software reads or creates for you.
3. Important: How the Software Uses the AI Platform
The software works by operating through a third-party AI platform (Anthropic’s Claude and Claude Cowork). When you ask the software to do something, the content you choose to process (your prompts and the information you direct it to use) is sent to and processed by that AI platform under Anthropic’s own terms and privacy policy. “Local-first” means we do not upload your files to Private Media, but it does not mean your inputs are never processed by the AI platform you are running. Please review Anthropic’s terms for how it handles that processing.
4. Limited Usage and Diagnostic Data We Receive
To operate, support, and improve the software, we may receive limited, non-content usage and diagnostic information, such as which features or capabilities were used, setup or onboarding milestones, version and error/diagnostic signals, and a user or account identifier. This is processed through our analytics provider. This does not include the contents of your files, messages, transcripts, or connected accounts. You will be told about, and where required asked to consent to, this collection.
5. Connected Accounts and Connectors
5.1 You may choose to connect third-party accounts and tools to the software (for example, email, calendar, file storage, or other connectors). When you do, you authorize the software, running on your device, to access those accounts according to the permissions you grant.
5.2 Your use of each connected account is governed by that provider’s terms and privacy policy, and the permissions you grant are between you and that provider. We recommend you grant only the access you need and disconnect or revoke access at any time through the software or the provider.
6. Personal-Data Plugins (PDI Suite) and Transcripts
6.1 Some plugins are designed to work with personal data you provide, such as meeting transcripts. These plugins process that data locally on your device in the same local-first manner described above.
6.2 Your responsibility for others’ information. Material like meeting transcripts often contains information about other people. You are responsible for having the necessary rights, notices, and consents to use and process information about third parties with the software, and for complying with any laws that apply to recording or processing other people’s communications. The software is a tool you control, and you are the controller of the personal data you choose to process with it.
7. Your Responsibilities and Controls
You control what folders and accounts the software can access, what actions you approve, and what data you process. You can stop using the software, disconnect accounts, and delete the local files at any time. Please also see the EULA, which describes your responsibilities (including backing up your data and using a dedicated folder).
8. Children
The software is intended for adults (18+) and is not directed to or intended for children.
9. Security
We protect the limited usage data we receive with reasonable safeguards. Security of your own device, accounts, local files, and connector permissions is your responsibility, as described in the EULA.
10. Changes and Contact
