How it teaches ‐ and where it was tested

Most AI training is video. You watch someone else build something on their screen and try to remember it later. That format does not work for a busy professional running a real business.

The Academy uses the Guided Build System instead:

You do not finish the Academy with a folder of notes. You finish it with a configured workspace that does real work for you on Monday.

This format was tested across four real business types before the Academy existed:

Founded by a practitioner, not a theorist

The Cowork Academy was founded by Michael Robichaud. Thirty years in business, most of it selling and marketing technology to people who had to justify the spend. He sold enterprise security software at RSA Security, closed more than $5 million into Fortune 500 and Fortune 1000 accounts, and made President’s Club. He has built and sold two companies: a healthcare staffing firm he grew from $2M to $6M across 42 hospital contracts, and a Chicago marketing agency with more than 50 small-business clients and a team of ten. He has spent twenty years doing technical SEO, paid search, analytics, and conversion work with his own hands, not supervising it.

He configured Claude Cowork for his own consulting practice first and tested it across four other business types before anyone else saw it. He built the Academy because Claude Cowork training is written for developers, and the professionals who need this most were handed documentation and told to figure it out.
